carobur13 January 15, 2012 at 1:59 pm: I think I heard that the average American family is in about $ 9,000 in credit card debt alone, this doesn’t include the car loan or the mortgage loan that people don’t really consider debt but “living”. Consumer credit card debt is close to triple what it was twenty years ago.
